.25 of 100 years

This past week was the big 2-5 for me. Pretty crazy to think I am a quarter of a century old. I feel old, like in a good way. I'm a real adult now, no more "early 20's just trying to figure out life" excuses anymore. It's pretty great being 25 though, and I had a really good 9,125th day of life (not couting leap years).

My day started by going to work... blah. But it was immediately better when I got to my desk filled with baloons and flowers from my co-workers. Working in an office is like watching "The Office". I am the party planning committee though, so this was a nice suprise since I had nothing to do with the planning.

My mom and sister came to see me for lunch, and they brought me the most cherished meal ever:
If you're from Albuquerque, you get it. For me, this is like a hundred dollar steak dinner. And, a slice of cheese and green chile is only 7 points. (Holler out to all my WW people).

After work I came home to some lovely flowers and a husband who said we could do whatever I wanted for the night. I told the husband NOT to send me flowers and work, but not in a sneaky way, like "Oh, if I tell him not to, he will" I thought it was too unprofessional to have my desk crowded all day with treats and flowers, so I for real meant no. I also came home to these wonders:

This super cute lunch box for me to carry my "Big girl" lunch to work. I ahd another lunch box, but I left it in the fridge over the weekend, and the cleaning crew threw it out. My new one is like this one, but purple with red, orange, and yellow dots. And it came with some tupperware.

I got these in silver. I wore them to work on Casual Friday, and they were a hit.

And I came home to a picture of this on my laptop because I get to pick out whichever one I want. I haven't picked the one I want yet, I am waiting for the perfect moment. I don't mess around when it comes to wrist attire.

I got to pick whatever I wanted for dinner, so naturally:

Cliche? I don't care. I love this place.

  2. Haha yes! I love the shout-out to Dion's. I don't know what it is about you Albuquerque people and that place. I just read part of your post to Sada (my co-worker/friend/Albuquerque native that's getting married) and she totally agrees.

Also, LOVE the Toms. I have some red ones, but I think some glitter ones might be in my future.

And double also, I'm watch shopping too! It's such a hard choice of what to get. Maybe you will help my decision.

And triple also... I get to see you soon!
